Caroline Kirberg * 1978, film director and producer, lives and works in Berlin

Caroline Kirberg is a Berlin-based film director and producer of fiction, documentary and experimental films. Since 2014 she works with pong Film who most recently produced the films „Havarie“ by Philip Scheffner and „And-ek ghes...“ by Philip Scheffner and Colorado Velcu, both of which premiered at Berlinale Forum in 2016. She produced experimental films between documentary and fiction with artist filmmakers such as Clemens von Wedemeyer, Dani Gal, Assaf Gruber, Volker Sattel, Stephan Geene, Rainer Kirberg. Caroline's first fictional short film as a director, "Fourteen", premiered at Hof International Film Festival in 2007. Since then she focusses on films in the contexts of art and music. She holds a Magistra Artium in Film Studies and English and took part in renowned international further education programmes such as Emerging Producers Jihlava 2015. Caroline teaches at UdK Berlin, HGB Leipzig, PMMC Halle and Merz-Akademie Stuttgart and is a frequent panellist for art / film.
